Orange Almond Marmalade
I’ve never considered myself a marmalade guy, but my roommate made this for a special occasion, and it was phenomenal.
Modified from Castello’s recipe
Servings
Makes about 1 cup.
Ingredients

5 whole mandarin oranges
- Tangerines work too
- 100ml sherry
- 200ml water
- 200g sugar
- 100g almonds
- 1 Cinnamon stick
Special Equipment
- Blender
Steps
- Slice oranges thinly.
- In a small pot, add orange slices, cinnamon stick, sherry, and water
- Boil for 30 minutes
- Add sugar and almonds
- Reduce heat, and simmer for another 30 minutes
- Remove from heat, and allow to cool for 5 minutes
- Transfer to a blender, and pulse until almonds are desired size
